VA Research (www.varesearch.com) sells quad Xeons with Linux preinstalled.  
Their prices are for whole systems; a quad Xeon "compute server" is $13995.  
Pricewatch (www.pricewatch.com) only shows one entry for the query 
"motherboards quad" and it also looks like a whole system; it's $10545.
These are PII Xeons, of course.  I haven't seen just the boards available
anywhere.
